Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence Applications (IJAIA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

All manuscripts submitted to IJAIA are screened for plagiarism using a recognized plagiarism detection tool before being considered for peer review. Manuscripts must demonstrate a similarity index of less than 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.

Submissions that exceed this threshold may be:

  • Returned to the author for revision, or

  • Rejected outright if plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical citation practices are identified.

IJAIA adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, including but not limited to:

  • Direct plagiarism

  • Self-plagiarism

  • Improper paraphrasing

  • Redundant or duplicate publication

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their submitted work.

Archiving Policy 

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence Applications (IJAIA) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content.

To guarantee permanent availability, IJAIA participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) archiving systems. These systems provide decentralized, distributed digital preservation by storing copies of the journal content across a global network of participating libraries.

In the event that the journal content becomes unavailable from the publisher’s website, the archived content will remain accessible through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS preservation networks.

This archiving strategy ensures:

  • Long-term digital preservation

  • Protection against data loss

  • Continued access for the scholarly community
